This is some tourist-y place we went.
At first Jenny told me they specialize in peaches, but it turns out the
Chinese words for peaches and pottery sound very similar, and Jenny was
wrong. They actually specialize in pottery.
Sharena, Jenny's mom, and Jenny's
aunt (who we are staying with) are on the right studing some little figurines.
They bought them for Sharena, and she is proudly displaying them below.
Some more from the same place.
Welcome the street feelingful.
This school was just down the street
from the main tourist destination. All the schools in Taiwan seem
to be fancy like this.
These pictures were taken from
the car on the way home. Above is a graveyard next to the highway.
The people we're staying with weren't exactly happy that I was photographing
a graveyard. Below is the kind of thing you see around Taipei alot,
and is wierd to me. Green nice hills all around, and for some reason
one of them will be randomly all full of buildings. And big buildings
too! Why?
